Fullarton Clinic has been planned to provide high quality in and out-patient mental health care in the setting of a private hospital.
This fills a widening gap in the delivery of such services around Australia, as evidenced by the recent Royal Commission into Mental Health services. Our objective is to design, construct and operate a purpose built private Psychiatric hospital in Epping to help bridge the gap in the delivery of Mental Health services in that region.
While Fullarton Clinic is a new hospital, the key personnel involved bring decades of experience and success to the Hospital. They have run similar healthcare facilities that have been developed to be highly effective healthcare entities through a combination of practical application, strong focus on quality and patient care and hands on team building and development, matched with an awareness of the needs of the region which they serve.

Fullarton Clinic is located in Epping, where there are currently no private Psychiatric hospitals and a rapidly growing population in the catchment area that is projected to exceed that of Adelaide by 2030-35.

Sankar Subramanian
BTech, MBA, MHA, PhD (ABD)
Sankar Subramanian BTech, MBA, MHA, PhD (ABD) is the CEO of Fullarton Clinic. He is a senior executive with over 30 years’ experience in the private healthcare sector.
His experience has included successfully managing transformational change in private hospital settings, establishing new healthcare facilities, introducing new service offerings growing revenue, and turning around the results of under-performing organisations.
Over the course of his career, he has worked as the CEO of 7 different private hospitals in Melbourne and as the Marketing/Strategic & Business Development Manager for Australian Unity, one of the larger health insurance funds in Australia.
Leanne Boase
BN MN (NP), MHSc (Ed), MAICD, FACNP
Leanne Boase has over 25 years’ experience working in a wide range of hospital and private health settings, including metropolitan and regional areas, and primary care. Leanne is a practising Nurse Practitioner, endorsed since 2009.
Her roles in the sector have included Management, Clinical and Business Planning/Development, as well as being a Board Member of various health organisations. She has set up and operated her own successful specialist centre and general practice and has consulted on a wide range of greenfield and existing health related projects. Leanne's extensive experience working with Commonwealth and State Governments, Health Professionals, Professional Associations and key Stakeholders ensures that the leadership team of Fullarton Clinic is well connected and communicates effectively to ensure both clinical and administrative excellence.
She has extensive experience leading teams and will provide leadership and co-ordination across multiple sites regarding Nursing, Safety, Quality and Accreditation.
