Fullarton Clinic Mental Health Day Program
Stay supported and continue moving forward with your mental health
Fullarton Clinic's Mental Health Day Programs are here to help you keep moving forward on your mental health journey.
Fullarton Clinic offers a variety of Day Programs designed to provide you with structured mental health aftercare.
The programs offer ongoing support as you return home following Inpatient treatment and no longer need overnight hospitalisation. They are tailored specifically to your condition, mental health needs and goals.
Our team is here to support you with practical, flexible care. As part of our integrated care model, the Day Program offers step down support, acting as a bridge between the hospital and everyday life, whilst still providing continuity of care that supports long term recovery.
Mental Health Services Pathway
There are several ways you can access support at our hospital for mental health care, but to get started, you need a referral to a Psychiatrist with admitting rights to Fullarton Clinic. You can either ask your GP for a referral to one of our Doctors or contact our intake team, who will connect you with a Psychiatrist. Next, you will complete an initial assessment, which will determine the most appropriate care pathway based on your individual needs and mental health goals.
The diagram below outlines a typical entry pathway for Fullarton Clinic Mental Health Services. However, this may be adjusted to suit your personal circumstances—for example, if you are travelling from interstate for treatment and are unable to attend the Day Program after Inpatient care.

With these options, you’ll have continuous support to strengthen and improve your mental health.

An Opportunity for Continuous Support
Our Day Programs extend your learning and deepen your knowledge around how to best manage your mental health condition.
Programs are offered in flexible formats — including day, evening, and weekend sessions to suit different schedules. This approach is structured to deliver our patients' best possible clinical outcomes. The programs aim to build on the skills you acquired during Inpatient Treatment to continue with recovery and sustain your long term wellness.
Our Mental Health Day Programs are designed to transition smoothly from inpatient care to independent living — reinforcing recovery in a familiar and supportive environment.
