The model of care that Fullarton Clinic has adopted is the delivery of Psychiatric Services through a registered and quality accredited private hospital that will provide:
Fullarton Clinic is located in Epping, where there are currently no private psychiatric hospitals and a rapidly growing population in the catchment area that is projected to exceed that of Adelaide by 2030-35.
Our Leadership Team
At Fullarton Clinic, our leadership team combines deep experience across private mental health, clinical governance, and hospital operations. Each member is dedicated to ensuring safe, respectful, and person-centred care—guided by a shared commitment to clinical excellence and sustainable recovery.

Sankar Subramanian
BTech, MBA, MHA, PhD (ABD)
Sankar Subramanian is the Chief Executive Officer of Fullarton Clinic. He is a senior executive with over 30 years’ experience in the private healthcare sector.
His experience includes successfully managing transformational change in private hospital settings, establishing new healthcare facilities, introducing new service offerings, growing revenue, and turning around the results of underperforming organisations.
Over the course of his career, he has worked as the Chief Executive Officer of seven private hospitals in Melbourne and as the Marketing, Strategic and Business Development Manager for Australian Unity, one of the larger health insurance funds in Australia.

Leanne Boase
BN MN (NP), MHSc (Ed), MAICD, FACNP
Adjunct Professor Leanne Boase is the Director of Clinical Services, with over 25 years of experience working in a wide range of hospital and private health settings, including metropolitan and regional areas, as well as primary care. Leanne is a practising Nurse Practitioner, endorsed since 2009.
Her roles in the sector have included Management, Clinical and business planning and development, as well as serving as a Board Member of various health organisations. She has set up and operated her own successful specialist centre and general practice, and has consulted on a wide range of greenfield and existing health-related projects. Leanne’s extensive experience working with Commonwealth and State Governments, health professionals, professional associations, and key stakeholders ensures that the leadership team of Fullarton Clinic is well connected and communicates effectively to ensure both Clinical and Administrative Excellence.
She has extensive experience leading teams and provides leadership and coordination across multiple sites regarding Nursing, Safety, Quality, and Accreditation.

Peter Randell
RN, MHN (Div 1), GradDipNursAdmin
Peter Randell is the Hospital Director at Fullarton Clinic and brings nearly four decades of nursing experience in the private mental health sector, including 26 years in senior nursing and hospital administration.
A highly respected leader in mental health and addiction care, Peter is known for pioneering innovative services — notably establishing Australia’s first private mental health community outreach service. He has also led complex service transitions involving co-share arrangements between public and private hospital systems.
Peter has held key leadership positions, including Director of Nursing and Hospital Director, at several renowned mental health hospitals in Melbourne.
He is dedicated to ensuring every person receiving care at Fullarton Clinic feels heard, respected, and supported. His leadership reflects Luminar Health’s core values of Compassion, Respect, and Excellence. Peter remains a proud member of the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation.
