Art Therapy Program in Melbourne

Explore thoughts and emotions through creativity in a supportive group environment

Creativity can provide another way to explore and express thoughts, emotions and experiences.

What is Art Therapy?

Art therapy uses creative activities and artistic expression to help you explore thoughts, emotions and experiences in a supported therapeutic environment.

You don’t need to be an artist or have any previous experience. The focus isn’t on creating a particular type of artwork, but on using the creative process as another way to express yourself, reflect on your experiences and support your mental health and wellbeing.

Art therapy can help you:

  • Explore thoughts and emotions in a different way
  • Express experiences that may be difficult to put into words
  • Develop greater self-awareness and understanding
  • Explore new ways of responding to emotions and experiences
  • Build confidence in expressing yourself
  • Support your ongoing recovery and wellbeing

Art therapy can support greater self-awareness, emotional expression and personal growth.

What You Can Gain From Art Therapy

Use creativity and self-expression to build greater awareness, connection and support your mental health and wellbeing.

No artistic experience is required. The focus is on expression, not artistic ability.
